❤️ What I liked about Apple Cider Slaying by Julie Anne Lindsey

🌳 The setting. I love apple cider, apples, apple pies, farms and Christmas… It wouldn’t have been possible for me to dislike this cosy mystery! The setting is well described, and the scenes well presented.

👩 Winnie. She is a hard worker. I loved her determination and the passion she put into reviving her Granny’s business. I also enjoyed reading about her strong bond with both her grandparents.ost decided to give up reading!

🔍 The mystery. The plot was well twisted, with a couple of red herrings here and there. I could only guess the culprit halfway through the book.

To the score

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 Apple Cider Slaying is the first book in the Cider Shop Mystery series. I enjoyed listening to the audiobook, and it left me looking forward to reading the second instalment. It’s perfect for fans of cosy mysteries… and it’s best served with a slice of Apple Pie and a glass of Apple Cider!
